Becoming a mother is a truly life-changing experience, but it can also be an overwhelming time. Sharing the joys and challenges of new motherhood with other new mums in an intimate group setting can make a huge difference as you transition into this new role.
Each week of the course has a particular focus to help you reach a deeper understanding of yourself in relation to your baby. Areas covered include: your birthing experience, changes to your relationship with your partner, what it means to be a mother, identity issues that may arise and more.
You go though the course with other new mums as a cohort, encouraging the creation of your very own “village” that you can continue to support and be supported by well beyond the end of the six sessions.
The group is facilitated by psychotherapist and fellow mum-of-two Caitlin Scheybeler, and is inspired by her own experience of joining a new mothers’ circle after having her first baby abroad.
